Steve Worley, Owner and Guide at WBFC in this video segment presents the "Jughead Cranefly Larva" fly pattern.  Craneflies are an intrical part of September fly fishing on the Yakima River in Central Washington.  The larva is an important food source for trout as they get active in the summer months before hatching.  This pattern provides a great silhouette of the larva and the body fibers and rubber legs give it lots of movement, which mimic the cranefly larva in its natural environment.
