teve Worley, Owner and Guide at WBFC in this video segment presents the "Flexi-Girdle Bug" fly pattern.  This fly is considered an attractor style pattern, however during the month of September on Central Washington's, Yakima River it pulls double duty. We have found over the years that the Flexi-Girdle Bug is an excellent host for duplicating the "Shortwing Stonefly" or the Cranefly Adult. Both of these aquatic insects hatch at this time of the season and the Flexi-Girdle Bug, tied in either brown or tan works wonders on the water.  The assortment of flexi legs that are tied in throughout the body, create the ideal silhouette that mimics both the adult stonefly and or the Cranefly.S Thanks for viewing and sharing.
