Steve Worley, Owner and
Guide at WBFC in this video segment presents the "Craft
Fur Dolly Llama" streamer fly pattern.
Their are a host of productive streamer patterns
that have been created over the years. The Dolly
Llama has to rank within the top ten list of
streamers that bring big fish to hand consistently.
Steve takes this pattern one step further, utilizing
and substituting strips of synthetic craft fur
instead of the original rabbit strips. Rabbit
fur is an excellent material for streamers and is
used in many of the productive streamer patterns,
however it can get heavy and tiresome to cast. Plus,
being a leather, once it dries out, the strips can
get hard and brittle. Craft Fur is super light,
doesn't absorb warm and breaths and moves much like
the natural, making the Craft Fur Dolly Llama almost
irresistible to any freshwater predator. Thanks for viewing
and sharing.
