It is made withstand the pressure of bigger lake and river fish like Rainbow, Trout, Salmon and Steelhead. The sproat bend shape makes for a stronger option compared to the round bend hooks. The Mustad Signature fly hooks feature unique sharpness and strength. The hook features a 2X long shank for more bulky flies.
